Community Guidelines

Last updated: 30 August 2026 · Controlled beta

eConnect is a competitive community — these guidelines keep it fair and welcoming. Violations are handled through our moderation system by human review, and can result in a warning, content removal, or account suspension depending on severity.

Don't harass or impersonate

Treat other players, team members, and organizers with respect. Harassment, hate speech, and threats are not tolerated. Don't impersonate another person, team, or organizer.

Don't spam

Unsolicited advertising, repeated irrelevant posts, and automated spam behavior are not allowed.

Play fair — no cheating or fraudulent results

Report match results honestly. Submitting false, manipulated, or fabricated results damages the competitive integrity of the platform for everyone and may result in disqualification and suspension.

Use reporting responsibly

The report system exists to flag genuine violations. Filing knowingly false reports, or using reports to harass another user, is itself a violation of these guidelines.

Don't attempt to abuse the platform or its security

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to another account, probing for vulnerabilities without authorization, or attempting to disrupt platform availability is prohibited.

How reports are handled

When you report a user, team, or piece of content, it enters a queue reviewed by administrators. A report moves from Open to Under Review once an administrator starts looking into it, and is eventually Resolved (action taken, e.g. suspension) or Dismissed (no violation found). Your identity as the reporter is visible to administrators but never to the reported party.
